About outbids
An attention market for the internet.
What outbids.es is
outbids.es is a public attention market. Anyone can submit a website, X or Instagram profile, App Store or Google Play link and pay to rank it higher on the board. There's no algorithm deciding what gets shown — the amount verified for the current board window is the only signal.
How ranking works
Every listing's rank is the sum of what's been verified for it inside the active window — Today, Week, or All-time. Pay more than the current #1 and you take the top spot; someone else can always outbid you back.
How clicks are counted
Every listing links out through a tracked redirect. One visitor counts once per listing per board day, so refreshing a page or clicking twice doesn't inflate the number.
What we store
We keep the public metadata for a listing (title, description, favicon), the verified amount paid, and a hashed, non-identifying record of clicks. We don't sell data or run ads — the board itself is the product.
